My fourth purchase of this style. I teach water aerobics and love the conservative cut and long-lasting fabric. I get about a year out of these suits.
Typical to the polyester fabric, you may need a larger size as there is not the stretch that is found in lycra/spandex suits.
Glad to see them back i... Read More

  • “The STP Swimwear Sizing Guide lists Dolfin sizes by swimsuit size (i.e. 34, 36, 38, etc.), but the sizes listed for this suit are clothing sizes (8, 10, 12, etc.). How does Dolfin swim suit size correspond to clothing size?”

  • “two people have asked if the suit is fully lined. I have a dolfin from 2 yrs ago that has been great for laps, so assume this is constructed the same. I would like to know if the leg opening is low (bad) or shaped somewhat higher (better). thanks.”
Asked by annbee from boulder on 1/23/2010 12:00:00 AM
    • The suit is full lined and has the shelf bra. Leg cut is higher.

    • The suit is lined.|For me, the leg opening is perfect. Being tall and long waisted, it does not ride up on me. I hate wearing suits that I am constantly tugging down on.
Answered on 3/25/2010 12:00:00 AM by Lynnie from Cary, NC
    • yes, it is lined and the leg opening looks much lower in the picture than reality. The suit does not have a super high leg opening, but it does not go straight across as it appears in the photo.

About Dolfin

Over 50 years ago, a lingerie manufacturer sitting poolside overheard lifeguards complaining about their lack of quality Australian racing briefs. A week later, the soon-to-be founder of Dolfin had created the high-quality suits these lifeguards were seeking and launched his now-famous swimwear company (we doubt, though, that he told the lifeguards he was using the same nylon fabric that had made his women's lingerie so popular). Since then, Dolfin has successfully outfitted dozens of NCAA champions and even some world-record swimmers. Dolfin's success is based on the company's commitment to innovation, quality and value. Look for recent styles like Ocean and AquaShape, with modern features like chlorine resistance and 50+ UV protection.
