Great suit at a good price

I really like the quality of this suit. It does run on the small side so order up 1 or 2 sizes

  • Well made suit, flattering color/design
Verified Buyer Reviewed by dreamine from San Jose, CA on Monday, August 21, 2017
I liked the suit. It has double layers, making for good coverage. I was worried about the design being too large, but it was just right. Made me look good. I usually wear a 18, but I bought a 20. I needed the room in the bust. If you are large busted, I recommend one size up. I give it a 4 because I wish it had more breast support. However, it was not too bad....(I usually wear underwires....)
  • there are two styles here!

I wish I had read more of the reviews, just got two suits that were supposed to be the same style and size (22), but they are totally different. One is nylon, the other polyester. The polyester (blue) one is the dolfin moderate lap suit with a simple shelf bra. The nylon (purple) one says 'ocean' on the tag and the suit, has a soft cup bra, and is about 4 inches shorter and one inch smaller width than the other and is awful. The last dolfin suit I had was more like the blue one and I wore it every day in the pool for three years before it finally wore out.
  • Dolfin Conservative Lap Suit

Look carefully at the inner tag, as some of these are "moderate" fit, and some are nylon suits. You may get lucky and get what you think you are ordering. I received 1/3 correct. The last one they sent was a different color than ordered, which would have been OK if it were the polyester suit, but it was nylon. Customer Service did refund my shipping costs, and will try to straighten out the mislabeling issue.
  • GREAT SUIT FOR AQUASIZE
Verified Buyer Reviewed by msneed from nc on Sunday, April 9, 2017
This suit fits nice and snug - a little too snug in bust, but not uncomfortable. I'm in the pool everyday and Dolfin suits outlast everything else I've tried.
  • Style has changed
Verified Buyer Reviewed by AFairportFan from Massachusetts on Sunday, April 2, 2017
I ordered 2 of this style suit, as I had good experiences with previous orders in this style and brand. Unfortunately, neither suit fit--one had padded cups and was too tight overall, while the other had a shelf bra but was flimsy and just didn't fit correctly. Guess I'll have to find another brand for water aerobics.

About Dolfin

Over 50 years ago, a lingerie manufacturer sitting poolside overheard lifeguards complaining about their lack of quality Australian racing briefs. A week later, the soon-to-be founder of Dolfin had created the high-quality suits these lifeguards were seeking and launched his now-famous swimwear company (we doubt, though, that he told the lifeguards he was using the same nylon fabric that had made his women's lingerie so popular). Since then, Dolfin has successfully outfitted dozens of NCAA champions and even some world-record swimmers. Dolfin's success is based on the company's commitment to innovation, quality and value. Look for recent styles like Ocean and AquaShape, with modern features like chlorine resistance and 50+ UV protection.
