So long that a one piece tends to not fit quite right in the torso. She is also very modest and hates when anything is too low in the chest or too high in the rear. I got a size 10 and it fits really perfect. I wish I would have gotten a 12 as well for next year. If she wasn't so lean I think a 12 would have fit better, but the 10 fits like a glove. She wore it to a swim birthday party and it worked great. The quality is good and I'm hoping it lasts the summer. The coverage is perfect and modest and I really wished I would have bought another. We'll see how well it holds up this summer at the pool!
