I think this is a great pillow for the price. Not as crunchy as I would have thought. I like that it isn't a big puffy pillow. It is the perfect height for me.

I ordered 2 of these pillows for our guest room and am not at all happy with them. They are underfilled and go flat immediately when laid on. They also have an unpleasant "fowl" smell even several weeks after removing them from their packaging. I had purchased a Downlite down pillow in the past that was nice and full and had no odor, even right out of the bag, so these were a real disappointment. I got them on a good sale and it would not be worth the cost to return them, otherwise I definitely would. I do not recommend these.

I waited for a few weeks to review these pillows to try to give them time to air out and fluff up, but they did neither. They are very underfilled and instantly go flat when you lay on them. Even more bothersome is the unpleasant "wet chicken" odor that they are still giving off, even several weeks out of the package. It isn't worth the expense of returning them, but I would not buy down pillows from this manufacturer again.

A bit "feathery" and pokey. Was a good price for a down pillow, but is more feather than down for sure. And there is some plastic type of coating inside the pillow that crinkles when you lay on it. Overall it was decent. Would not buy again though.

About Downlite

Turn down the thermostat and revel in the warmth and comfort of Downlite blankets and comforters. America's premier manufacturer of down and feather bedding, Downlite is a 100-year-old feather processing company that began making comforters and pillows in the late 1970s. The key to Downlite's success is in the uncompromising quality of their down blankets, down comforters and down pillows. In true European tradition, Downlite uses German-milled fabrics and superior goose down fills. Downlite bedding fabrics always have a high thread count and are densely woven to keep the down from migrating outside the fabric. More recently, Downlite has branched into high-quality synthetic fills like Primaloft®, an allergy-safe alternative that mimics down in its lightness and thermal efficiency. For people who like the warmth of down but not its overly fluffy volume, Downlite even offers quilted, low-profile blankets; for the eco-conscious customer, Downlite now offers Ecospun® recycled-fiber pillows.
