I have a higher arch and need shoes that provide better support than many sandals provide. These fit the bill. Maybe New Balance was included in the description and missed it, but that, to me is very important information. New Balance is a brand that I can wear right out of the box, has excellent orthopedic support and last a very long time. These are no exception. The one thing that I think will fix itself over wearing time is the part that goes between my toes is little stiff. I'm wearing them for shorter periods around the house to break that in a bit. If I walked any significant distance with the, I'm sure I'd get blister there from rubbing. Nothing that would preclude my buying them again. It's easy to tell in advance that that will be a problem. If I want to wear them before I fully break in that area, I'll sip a bandaid between my toes. Problem solved.

I wear a 12D and most of my little toe hangs off the footbed. Length is OK. Not as soft as I thought they would br.

It is everything promised. I do have pretty wide feet and wish it was a tad wider, but overall a terrific buy and great flop.

About Dunham

Few outdoor companies can trace their roots back to 1885, but that's when the Dunham Brothers opened a small shoe store in Brattleboro, Vermont. Their mission was to outfit the adventurers of the day with great-fitting shoes designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor exploration. The Dunham tradition began with "The Original" -- America's first boot crafted of waterproof leather -- and again marched into the limelight with the introduction of the Waffle Stomper, a wildly popular boot that took America by storm in the 1960's. Dunham is perhaps best known for their fit, offering as many as 87 different size and width combinations as a testament to their belief that shoes which fit better, also perform better.
