“Are they composite Toe?”

  • No they are not, the have some structural banding which I found cut into my foot but only with running (especially down hill). You may want to order up 1/2 size. Otherwise a well made shoe.

  • If you mean like the hard toe box of a safety shoe, then no. They have a thick layer of rubber (the black part) in the front that should probably protect from any front impact when you're running on uneven terrain like a trail, but I don't think they qualify as a safety shoe.

  • There is a bumper, the black area shown in photo, but no composites I'm aware of.
    They are super comfortable.
