4.0 out of 5 stars. Update to A Summer ReviewReviewed by MNIAW from SSNY on Tuesday, February 26, 2013I ended up giving the size 27.5 boots away and got a size 28 instead. Much larger shell and more accommodating. I have done several short tours in these boots after installing Intuition liners and absolutely love them in that mode. I've been skiing in plug racing boots for years so they're not as stiff as those but I like them in downhill mode. Friends tell me they're quite stiff but I find th

5.0 out of 5 stars. I love this bootReviewed by utahpete from UT/WY on Saturday, December 22, 2012I haven't toured in this boot yet, but so far it is the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. Beefy enough for resort skiing( 8 days on it so far). I love the idea of interchangable soles.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great AT BootVerified Buyer Reviewed by teleskIan from Colorado on Thursday, November 15, 2012Great boot for a mix of touring and downhill performance. I come from a telemark background, so honestly this is the stiffest boot I have ever owned. For how well it skis, it is quite light and has a great range of motion in walk mode with the buckles loosened.

4.0 out of 5 stars. great bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by the skier from Los Altos, CA on Tuesday, November 6, 2012The boots are WAAAY too small, a full size. I had to order the next size. I didn't format the liner yet, I hope it will be great.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice shell, liner not so muchVerified Buyer Reviewed by MNIAW from SSNY on Friday, June 22, 2012I was struggling with some of the pros and cons and also describing myself. I've been an alpine skier for 40+ years but am just getting into touring so I rated myself a beginner. It's June so I obviously can't rate performance. These boots are insanely light but still feel substantial. I plan to use MFD plates and alpine binders to start but like the Dynafit binding capability with the interchangeable sole lugs. My biggest beef is with the liner. It really is way too small for the shell. I like a tight fit but the liners were much too short. A shell fit indicates that the shell is right but the liner is either mismarked (it says 27.5) or is just a poor size. I put my 27.5 Salomon Course liners in and my agony turned to ecstasy...I'll likely go with Intuitions down the road.
