  • “Where do you attach your sleeping bag and food safe? I have an old, very old jansport that had straps to attach these to on outside. I dont see any straps for that purpose on this pack.”

  • “Can I take this pack on a plane, will it fit in the overhead compartment? I'm traveling to Germany in the fall. Also, can the harness be hidden? My old pack had a flap that rolled up on the bottom for storage, then unrolled and zipped over the harness, turning the pack into a duffel like bag.”

    • This would probably not work for carry on. Most airlines allowable carry on dimensions are 22” x 14” x 9” for a total of 45” linear (all together) and weighs 40 lbs. However you may want to check with your air carrier since these may vary some from carrier to carrier.
