This pack is wonderful. Both as a backpack and a roller board. Just make sure if you're using it as a backpack, don't fill it up. I love the zip off day pack!

We bought the 22 & 25 inch Switchbacks about 4 years ago and have literally travelled the world with them. They are light, hold a lot and we use the detachable backpacks a lot. The straps for backpacking are very handy when you don't want to roll your bag long distances or over rough cobblestones and rough surfaces. The 22 inch is a carryon and holds only about 700 cubic inches less than the 25 inch Switchback. We have bought 3 additional 22 inch switchbacks for our two kids and son in law.
