Reviewed by Christina O. from San Francisco, CA on Sunday, December 11, 2016Really great straps.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Landon from Portland, OR on Sunday, July 31, 2016They are made of a frictionless nylon material and will stay in place on any surface. I used a metal pole and it did not slide down at all once I was in the hammock. They are lightweight and compact and I would not go backpacking or hiking without my ENO hammock and this straps. They can be setup almost anywhere and the distance between mounting points (i.e., trees) can be very far apart and you will be hard to find a location you won't be able to use these.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Brannon Haneline from North Carolina on Thursday, July 7, 2016Use them all the time!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by NCman from Boone, NC on Tuesday, May 31, 2016They are fine. Not as good as the daisy chain style of the newer models. They straps have far fewer attachment options. For the price they are fine.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Panther Mom from Alaska on Saturday, April 16, 2016What a wonderful design! So easy to use and allows me the pleasure of being able to use my hammock in so many different places. These straps along with the light weight, compressible hammock made it convenient to throw in my backpack and take with me whenever I went to the beach on my recent trip to Hawaii.

“At another "major outdoor retailer" almost all of the reviews of this product complain about them stretching a great deal- "I wake up with my butt on the ground." Has anyone had that problem with these?”
I find my hammock stretches much more than the straps. In any case, to prevent "waking up with my butt on the ground," or any back issues, I set it up early, lay in it and relax, then re tighten before settling in for the night. After the initial stretch ( that happens in every use ), it stays pretty taught through the night. Hope this helps!
It would be great for that
Depending on the weight of the swing. If you are using strictly parachute material as the hammock, you shpuld be fine. I actually prefer the ENO Atlas straps, as they have a lot more loops for exact length options. Slap Straps work in a pinch.
