The alarm worked right out of the box.

The instructions were easy to understand. It is easy to set the time as well as set and change the alarm. The snooze button also turns on the backlight on the dial, which goes off after a short while.

    • Lacrosse just got back to me and this is what they had to say regarding your questions. Have a great day.||This clock uses 1 lithium CR2032 battery (very common size button cell battery) I do not have exact information on the lifespan but would approximate 2 years depending on how much time is used pressing buttons and the alarm. (2)This is not an atomic clock - it is a simple battery operated clock. No need to set a time zone. (3) This is a speculative question. When I listen to the alarm, I believe it to be loud enough to wake myself up. It is a high pitched beep. It is not a buzz noise.
