This is a nice looking 'old world look" clock. Even though I read the dimensions, it was a bit larger than I expected. If you're using it in a bedroom, be aware that you can hear it ticking, but it's a fairly soft sound. Great value.

It is a nice size--large enough to be visible from a distance, but does not take up a lot of room on a counter, table, or mantle.

I put a few old books under the old-world dark clock, and a matching hour glass on top for height! Looks real nice! Wherever you are thinking of using it keep in mind that you probably can't see the time over 20 ft. It is a small clock but I knew that when I bought it! Does nothing fancy just keeps good time and looks nice! Would have cost at least double at a Dept. Store!!!
