Comfy!

These pants are comfortable and flexible, and overall great! The one small thing I’m not a huge fan of is the Velcro in the back pockets, but’s that’s a minor nuisance. The fit is wonderful regardless.

I wore these pants on my last backpacking trip. They were comfortable and light weight enough to keep me cool while hiking!
  • Great pants, just too short

I was pretty bummed these didn't fit me quite right! I ordered a size 8 (5'10" 149 lbs) and these fit well in the waist, if not slightly big. However, they were fairly short on me which seems to be the case with a lot of hiking pants. The material was great and I believe they fit true to size (if you're between sizes, maybe order down?), but probably will be too short for those taller than 5'7" or so depending on how long your legs are.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
