  • Horrible Odor after 1 week *NOT* normal memory foam

Pleas note this product is NOT the standard pale yellow memory foam that most of us are used to. This is much softer (less support) and is blue with much smaller pores. It compresses much easier and ships with multiple tears/abrasions visible on the surface. I do not expect it to last a long time if I can ever actually use it.

This ships with a warning to let it air out for 24 hours. Out of the box it overwhelms you with a horrible synthetic odor and I was hopeful that it would dissipate. After the first 24 hours the smell was still extreme. I tried compressing it numerous times to help expel whatever is holding the smell, but nothing works. It's now been over a week and the smell is still unbearable. I washed the cover and aired out the foam outside, in front of a fan, in a window... I still can not lay my head on it without feeling like I'm in a chemical factory.
