Nice tights

I thought these were a little cool the first time I wore them, as they are not wind-block and let in a fair amount of air. But once I warmed up, wow! They were warm. Almost too warm for a mid-40 degree ride. Definitely a deep-of-winter set of tights. Love the fleece-y lining. Fit like a glove. ... Read More

  • Comfortable and Flattering
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hobbyhorse from Sundance, WY on Wednesday, April 21, 2010
I wear these for for all types of cycling. They are so comfortable, I don't want to take them off. The inside is soft and warm, with nice weight and substance. I had was a thread break on a seam by my knee but was very minor. The fit is great. Some reviews said they run small so I ordered two pairs in different sizes but found them to fit true to size and returned the larger pair.

Really like the fabric these tights are made of; soft but good support. Usually don't wear tights with padding(wear shorts underneath) so I haven't decided if I like that yet. Good quality overall.

I love Exte Ondo products. Their materials are silky smooth & soft, very flexible. Also I love their styling. A little internal pocket for chap stick or a key would have been nice. The sizing is consistent-but the clothes run much smaller than American sizes. I wear a small to med in American, a large in Exte Ondo.

Almost too warm for a mid-40 degree ride. Definitely a deep-of-winter set of tights. Love the fleece-y lining. Fit like a glove. Great movement. Lack of ankle zippers did not prove to be a problem in getting them on.

Last year I bought Etxe Ondo cycling Jacket in black/blue, this yr STP has this matching color and great price. Now I have a set go with my blue Ionos helmet, just wore past weekend when the weather is in range mid-30 to mid-40. Perfect with short sleeve base layer. I love it...if it has leg zipper that would be best.

Question & Answer

  • “How long is the length? I am a Asian woman and wear size 2. One of the reviewer said that it runs small. Should I order size 4 or size 2?”
Asked by Anonymous from New Mexico on 3/11/2010 12:00:00 AM
    • The inseam of a small is 26 inches. It is a trim fit, so you should expect it to fit snug. Otherwise it is true to size.

  • “are they waterproof/resistant? windproof/resistant?”
Asked by Anonymous from Unknown on 2/24/2010 12:00:00 AM
    • These tights will be somewhat wind resistant, but as far as water, they will dry quickly and they may be repellent for a little bit, but ultimately they will get wet.

About Etxeondo

Ever wondered what "Etxe Ondo" means? Etxe Ondo is actually Basque for "near the house." The hump-shaped Etxe Ondo logo represents the hay bales next to the northern Spanish farmhouse where the cycling clothing company began. The attention to detail in all Etxe Ondo cycling clothing is based on the company's roots in European couture, from the tight knit in a Windstopper® cycling jacket to the perfectly anatomic chamois pad in a pair of cycling bibs. When you need the highest quality cycling jersey, bike shorts, cycling bibs or cycling jacket, Etxe Ondo gear should be at the top of your list. And if you're looking for the best deals on any Etxe Ondo cycling wear, Sierra Trading Post is the right place.
