Verified Buyer Reviewed by Inua from Massachusetts on Thursday, June 22, 2017Well- My first thoughts are "this will not bode well..." Be clear that this is NOT a insulated mattress, it WILL get cold, as air is the only buffer, so use in the summer months only. Second- it is literally a basic AIR mattress that is all one connected inner tube. And when you move, that air moves from tube to tube noisily hissing. And it makes a crunchy-crinkly noise. One bitty hole, and you are doomed to sleep on the ground. The tubes are large and maybe uncomfortable for many. No one in my family will use it because of this.
The plus? It weighs something around a pound, and folds to almost nothing.
Oh, and that "easy" integrated hand pump thing?? It's a total scam. I could not get it to work, I inflated the mattress using the deflation valve. It actually creates more weight and a hard spot in the mattress...
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lululuv from Colorado on Thursday, June 1, 2017What better way to sleep under the stars... why on a luxurious sleeping pad that reminds us of a small child's mattress! While preparing for our upcoming backpacking trip, my boyfriend decided the decade old Thermarest was just not going to make the cut! (Mind you, that Therma rest has been the best pad we've owned). Being on a budget (or just plain frugal) I started researching pads. And EUREKA! I found the Eureka Singlis UL sleeping pad in a size LARGE! Not exactly sure what a singlis is?...but perhaps it's definition is perfect! For the size, it's light and compacts well. It's fairly easy to inflate (not quite the self inflating thermarest but that's ok!) it took about one minute with the integrated hand pump! No hot air in this baby! This is one comfy pad with a thickness of 2.8 in. It fits in our two person backpacking tent length wise perfectly. Now we just need to get it out in the backcountry! (Follow up review to come).
The model in the picture is roughly 5'9ish and 190ish lbs! Rolled up towel pillow sold seperately!
