  • “Is the L or XL a better fit for Men's size 11 or 11.5?
Asked by Kaz from VA on 6/19/2014 4:21:48 AM
    • I think that XL would be more suitable for you
My shoes size is 10 U.S ,and I ordered size L and it fits me perfectly
Answered on 6/19/2014 4:28:35 AM by uri from nj
    • XL for sure. These socks do not fit like traditional socks. They are more glove-like in fit, so I think the perception is that they run on the small side.
Answered on 6/19/2014 5:07:59 AM by Lobo Country Dreaming from East coast
    • Since they run small, I bought L for my size 10.5 husband. I'd suggest an XL. But he didn't like the sox so I returned them.

    • I wear 8-8.5 boots, and am happy with the mediums I ordered. they shink up a bit after laudry, but not to tight.
      Hope this helps.

    • Definitely the XL. I wear a 9.5 shoe and the L is perfect for me. I think an 11 or 11.5 would require the XL.

    • I bought the large and have the same shoe size. They are holding up well, have had them for about 6 months now.
If you have large calves, they'll dig in a little but not to the point where it is uncomfortable.

    • I bought the large for my husband who wears a size 11 show. They fit snugly and don't allow for the sock to slip. That's what we find causes most of our blisters.

    • Large should be your best fit. I am a size 13 and it is a little snug on me after a few washes.

    • I'm size 10.5 or 11 with a wide foot, and three large fits me perfect.. so depending on how tight or loose you would want it
Answered on 6/19/2014 11:39:53 AM by Bob sagget from Colorado
    • My husband wears an 11.5. I ordered 2 pairs of each L and XL and we kept both as he liked them so much as there didn't seem to be much of a difference at least in the pairs we received. We hiked in soggy Ireland for a week ( I had the socks too) and they were terrific. Washed well too.

    • I would think that you should use a size large. I bought and used a size xl, because I wear a size 13.5 boot. Hope this helps.

    • I take a size 12 so I got the L and they fit well but are maybe a little more snug than I would like but that's just personal preference. If you like a little bit of looseness in your socks than maybe size up. You probably would be ok with the L as your foot is slightly smaller than mine so the socks shouldn't be quite as snug on your feet. I hope this helps?

    • I would recommend size XL. They are really great socks. I have purchased smart wool, icebreaker and the Eurosocks are my favorite.

    • Hummmm - I prefer my socks to fit snuggly. It's a matter of choice so I would go with the Large. You sure don't want them to be to long and squish your toes in your shoes!! That's not fun and could ruin your trexxing!
