3.0 out of 5 stars. PC Pros?Verified Buyer Reviewed by Libby from Montana on Monday, February 25, 2019I think many people purchase these as the less expensive alternative to the TC Pros, and they are a decent choice. A classic Peter Croft design. These are much stiffer than any other shoe I've ever owned, and as a result, feel REALLY tight for the size at first, but loosen up quickly as you break them in. The stiffness also means they don't form to your foot the same way most climbing shoes do. My size 6 astromans fit a bit tighter than my 36.5 TC Pros.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love themReviewed by Arina from Kansas on Monday, November 26, 2018Bought them on sale, my normal street shoes 36 (european) - 6.5 (U.S). Bought them in 7.5 - they broke in very nicely and I can wear them without pain the whole day (4-5 hours in the gym). Sticky rubber, very good heel hug, enough space for my fat toes. The sole is hard and I can stand in the very tip toes like a ballerina without causing myself any pain. Thy only problem, with a lot of smearing I managed to wear out holes in toes and soles.
Overall - I like them a lot and would purchase them again ( especially when they are on sale). -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice shoes for gym and outdoorsReviewed by Arina from Kansas on Sunday, November 4, 2018Totally worked for me. I wear regular women's 5.5 - 6.0 (I have small but rather wide feet) and purchased these in 7.5 and very glad I did. My climbing have improved significantly. The only minus (and it most likely the fault of my still very imperfect technique ) that I rubbed the rubber on the toes clear off in several months. I guess I need to resurface them but it might cost more than buying a new pair.

5.0 out of 5 stars. good shoes??Verified Buyer Reviewed by tomo from JAPAN on Tuesday, April 17, 2018I usually use La Sportiva's tarantula, but this shoe can adjust the tightening of the instep with a shoe lace, so it's easy to use with long climbing.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoe for crack climbingReviewed by Eugenel from Pittsburgh on Monday, March 19, 2018These are a great alternative to La Sportiva TC Pros. Similarly designed but 1/3rd the price. Wear 9.5 street shoes, bought 9.5. Fits fine, all-day ready after four gym sessions.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Runs smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mike from Colorado on Tuesday, March 6, 2018I wear 8.5 street shoes and heard these run small so i ordered a 9.5. 9.5 is still too small. There are no bigger sizes available so I cannot comment on the shoes performance.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoes, sizing off.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bill from Montana on Wednesday, August 2, 2017These are great climbing shoes for my daughter. However, the size is way off. My daughter is a size 7 and we had to get a size 9.5. We bought size 7's and ended up needing to buy another pair. Fortunately, the first pair fit my youngest child.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Quality shoe- undersized fitReviewed by Rocky Mtn Hi from Colorado on Tuesday, March 21, 2017Good thing STP has an EZ return policy! It took 3 tries to get the right fit on these these well made over-the-ankle shoes. Ended up 2.5 sizes larger than my regular size 6. I also own Evolv Demortos designed for those with a longer 2nd toe. They are 2 sizes larger. Apparently during the intervening years Evolv has not adjusted their boot lasts to match standards. I will be testing these out on the rock in the coming months.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Trad manVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hiker from SF on Monday, March 13, 2017I love hightop shoes as the low cut tennies just don't do well in the in the real world. I've been on Astroman but you only need a pitch of crack to let you know how important the ankle protection is. If the shoe fits, stock up as there aren't many hightops out there. Almost 2 sizes too small.
