Verified Buyer Reviewed by sallen10 from Missouri on Monday, November 24, 2014Great fit, multiple secure pockets in just the right places. A perfect travel coat for those trips to the city or to Europe. I plan to buy a second coat in a dark color if they are available. What a hit!!!
Reviewed by BK from Vermont on Monday, August 19, 2013This jacket retails for $130, Sierra Trading Post had a sale and it was about $80, then I noticed they had an additional percentage off ExOfficio products -- of which I've never purchased. I was comparing this jacket to a number of others on STP, Backcountry.com, Campsaver, Campmor, and other sites. Ultimately, I found this jacket was the best deal $130 for $57 after shipping ($49 before!) with phenomenal build quality with tight stitching, soft-touch materials including on the neck and wrist sections, smooth zippers with ties for easy grab, and most importantly the fit. I'm 6'1", 195 athletic build and it fits like a glove. It also features three INTERIOR pockets on the coat, and one of the pockets designed for keys even has a small clip inside of it to attach keys to so they don't get lost.
Too many good things to say about this jacket.
Negatives? I'm going to spend even more money on ExOfficio gear...
Reviewed by Bonhommekc from Seattle on Monday, July 8, 2013Nice jacket - relatively light weight / thinner fabric than a typical mountaineering soft-shell. Perfect for late spring / early fall. If you are looking for a soft-shell or windblock fleece to wear under your mountaineering shell, there are better jackets for that purpose. If you want a nice jacket for urban / in-city / travel use that's classy enough to wear with business casual attire, this is just about perfect. LIked it enough to buy 3 of them (1 in each color). True to size, well made.
