Not Suitable for Wet, Humid Weather, It Would Seem

I can't say anything about how well it repels insects, but I tried dipping the sleeve in water to see how well it dried. From my brief experiment, it did not seem to dry much faster than a regular cotton shirt. I will be traveling through the Amazonian rainforest and I did not want to risk having an uncomfortable shirt for the entire three months I would be traveling, even if the bug protection would have been nice. I returned this product and purchased a polyester, wicking, quick-drying long sleeve shirt.
