5.0 out of 5 stars. Simply AWESOME!!Reviewed by Anonymous from Denton, TX on Sunday, July 1, 2018I'm a few months shy of 30 and work as a high school baseball coach so I'm a pretty active and athletic guy. And ever since I was in Boy Scouts as a kid, I've loved to go camping and hiking every chance I get. I've also never worn anything except plain white classic fit Fruit of the Loom briefs, or "tighty whities". They are supportive and snug/tight in all the right places; they are soft and hold up well after multiple washes, and their all around comfort can't be beat...or so I thought.
When planning for camping/hiking trips, I am always looking for ways to lighten my backpack; but the one area where I've never been able to find a solution is the amount of underwear I have to pack. If I'm packing for a week long trip, I have to pack at least 7-8 pairs of white briefs, and since my FOTL briefs are 100% cotton, even wearing a pair for more than 1 day during a hike can lead to chafing and rash. In the past I've tried moisture-wicking spandex/Lycra/polyester briefs and boxer briefs. While they do their job in wicking sweat, the briefs are almost always too skimpy/low rise and the boxer briefs have too much leg fabric. Since I don't like low rise briefs and I hate extra leg fabric, I always end up switching back to my plain white cotton briefs after the first day. I love wearing plain white classic fit briefs and ONLY briefs and simply won't wear anything else. I figured I would have to suffer through packing multiple pairs of my regular tighty whities and changing them daily on trips. That all changed though!
About a week before our last scheduled camping/hiking trip, I was talking to my brother about not being able to find classic fit white briefs that meet my expectations and work better for our trips. My brother is older and also wears plain white cotton FOTL briefs most of the time, but he asked if I'd ever heard of ExOfficio briefs. When I told him I hadn't, he showed me a pair of his white ExOfficio briefs and let me wear them for a day (we wear the same size). I was immediately impressed with them. I love how airy and light they felt and that they wicked sweat and moisture very well. Having asked where he bought them, he told me to look at Sierra Trading Post since they were likely cheaper here than in store or even Amazon. He suggested buying at least 3 pairs, so I went online that day and purchased 3 pairs of these ExOfficio briefs in plain white...and how glad I am that I did!
On the trail, I was amazed at how awesome these briefs worked. They are so comfortable, soft and supportive. As with my Fruit of the Loom briefs, they are snug and tight in all the right places without being constricting, and with the added bonus of drying very fast. All I had to do was wash them in a stream, ring them out and lay them on top of my tent. Due to the dry and cool mountain air, they were almost completely dry in an hour...ONE HOUR!
I've since purchased 3 more pairs, all in plain white of course, and will be wearing them on future trips. I still wear my plain white cotton FOTL briefs most of the time, but I'm so glad to have found these ExOfficio briefs seeing as they have really helped lighten my backpack. Thank you very much ExOfficio and STP for making/selling these simply AWESOME briefs!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great UnderwearVerified Buyer Reviewed by Yeti from Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Wednesday, May 3, 2017I already owned 6 pair of these underwear and had them for years. They outlast cotton underwear by 5 times, are very comfortable, and dry quickly. After buying these, I now own 2 pairs in every color they make.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Definitly worth itVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Texas on Tuesday, April 4, 2017Got these for a backpacking trip in Australia later this year, and had a chance to test them out. Even in Texas heat they stay comfortable for multiple days and then wash & dry out in a few hours. If I had a choice, I'd buy only these from now on.
