They were so comfortable, I barely knew they were there. However, when I took them off, I noticed what looked like the beginning of run on stockings. When I looked closer, sure enough, the fabric had rubbed against itself and was breaking the fibers. I washed the pair (cold/low) and they came out looking the same, but with pilling of the fabric along the 'run' lines. Thankfully, these runs are only on the outside, so the pair is still comfortable against my skin. I will wear & wash them a few more times and see what state they are in. Disappointing, after hearing so many good things about this brand.

Though STP cannot accept my return since I handwashed my 4 pairs prior to use and saw both loose hems and pooling elastic band, I am attempting an exchange with ExOfficio directly. They stand by their typically quality products. Hoping for the best!
