Good, but largeReviewed by Granola Sky from USA on Saturday, February 10, 2018I liked the look and functionality of the jacket, lots of cool pockets and toasty warm with the buttoning lapel. Fit more like a roomy L than an M though, unfortunately. Thanks sierra for easy exchanges ^_^
dressy- not reallyVerified Buyer Reviewed by steve from Kansas on Thursday, February 1, 2018I like the jacket. It's just not your typical blazer but I'll certainly wear it often. Seems well made. For the price you can't go wrong.
Nice "Blazer"Reviewed by The Dude from Nashville on Tuesday, January 23, 2018just out of the box but I really like it. maybe somewhere between an actual sport coat and an overcoat but I think I will find many opportunities to wear it, more on the casual side. I do think it runs a bit large so if in question order a size down. The arms, for me at least, are a bit long as others have mentioned but this is common when I buy jackets. I think this is a great jacket for any mans closet at an amazing price.
easy, comfortable, sharp, well made, good detailsVerified Buyer Reviewed by allroad from high desert on Friday, January 5, 2018This travel / casual jacket has the sharp, detailed, quality I've come to expect from Exofficio--the button holes on the cuffs are good details, for example. The fabric is a good compromise and different from most travel jackets that are more cheerfully synthetic. This one approximates a wool feel and look, close as poly synthetic can get anyway. The result isn't exactly wool-like much less tweedy, but about as close as I've seen a synth travel jacket get. in other words, it minimizes any appearance or feel of synth fabric. What I look for in a travel / casual jacket is comfortable fit with zero padding and zero shoulder construction, but that still retains good traditional sport coat shape, especially good lapel shape, and this jacket fully accomplishes that balance. Makers of travel jackets like to include details to "update" the sport coat and draw notice--strange lapel tabs, weird pockets, zippers where they don't belong--and those details often make it less functional as a travel jacket if they ruin its plausibility as a sport coat (which is half the point of a travel jacket like this). Exofficio got this right too: the collar button tab and off-center hip pocket flap buttons are subtle and fitting-- just the right about of being different balanced with traditional look. People have asked me "is it Tyrolian?" (as well as "is it wool?"). Sized a little large so go down if you're on the margin. The sleeves are a little long. That's always a compromise with travel jackets--for function as an action outdoor jacket the sleeve needs to be longer than a sport coat sleeve, so designers have to choose which side to compromise on. Just be aware. Fabric is very breathable and this has been wearable all day in a warm office. Very comfortable all around.
Nice but did not fit well over the chest.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ginger from New Jersey on Wednesday, January 3, 2018I like this jacket, but it did not fit my husband across the chest very well. He is broad, athletic build and it gapped across the chest. Plus, he did not think it would keep wind out very well with the spreaded lapel. We unfortunately returned it.
Nice Travel BlazerVerified Buyer Reviewed by value shopper from Bay Area, CA on Monday, November 27, 2017I am a 46R slim cut and the Large fits well. Lots of pockets. I have the same material in the pants version and it travels incredibly well.
Great casual lookVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dennis from Wisconsin on Saturday, November 25, 2017I wanted a casual jacket for travel and this jacket looks like it can fill that need. Though I haven't put it to the test yet with travel, I'm pleased with the look, construction, and fit. If I think of it, I'll update this review once I get a chance to travel with it.
