Verified Buyer Reviewed by pedro from WA on Thursday, November 19, 2015the length is likely 34 for regular. I usually wear 31-32 length and this have least 2 extra inches that drags on floor.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Traveling Guy from California on Monday, October 26, 2015Taking a trip to South America this winter and was looking for pants that are light weight, sturdy, a good design and fit correctly. These pants fit the need and will be easy to pack in my suitcase which has an upper limit as to the weight requirement on international air flights.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Missouri Hiker from Missouri on Wednesday, July 29, 2015Pants are 2 inches too long for my 32" inseam. I ordered 34" waist, regular size
overall quality looked great but had to return
Verified Buyer Reviewed by True Aficionado from Whidbey Island on Tuesday, April 14, 2015The designers of the Tulemar pants were very creative and incorporated some features that must of looked better conceptually than in execution. The pant legs were assembled from separate pieces (upper and lower leg) to allow gaping vents in the back around the knees. The problem is the accompanying diagonal seam across the front leg. The motion from any activity such as walking or sitting causes the seams to ride up and down. This causes some minor abrasion and discomfort on the front of the wearers legs as the seam rubs against the skin.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Travel Often from TN on Thursday, November 20, 2014These pants are very durable yet lightweight. Love them for everyday hiking and also casual pants. Fits true to size & stain resistant. Would reccomend these to anyone looking for lightweight all season pants.

“what inseam is r for regular and s for short. Also I wear a size 35 in waist. Would a size 36 be best using the cinch waist feature? thks”
32 inches for regular inseam and I don't know about the Short (never ordered that size) but mine fit a little snug for my usual size I order 32 waist but 34 is way too big so it all depends on comfort level . If you go a size up you will have more room for layers and also using the cinch waist will probably be needed.
