excellent design for this type of collar

I prefer leather "ring-in-the-centre" collars for both looks and safety, but this is an excellent design for a nylon adjustable collar. Useful for puppies that are still growing. Being able to attach a leash to the D-rings on both sides of the plastic buckle corrects the main defect of the buckle, which is that it might give if a dog pulls strongly or suddenly. (I have had that happen a few times.) The collar is well made, good quality nylon webbing and good stitching. Like all nylon collars it might stand a wash after a while, as it can get smelly--something that isn't a problem with leather collars.
