Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Berkshires Hiker from Massachusetts on Monday, August 15, 2016I wanted a bungee-type leash to help with my dog's pulling. This leash feels cheap, flimsy, and is made of some sort of plastic woven material.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tom from Pittsburgh, PA on Thursday, February 12, 2015Moving from a 60" standard web leash to this one was a bit of a challenge. The "shock absorber" effect is outstanding, as is the neoprene covered handle. I just wish it was about a foot longer. If you started with this one and the dog was adapted to the length from the beginning, it would be perfect. In that case, it would be five stars without a question.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mike from Iowa on Monday, December 29, 2014This is a quality leash, it's just too short. I have a dog that I am working on retraining to put an end to the pulling and this leash is great for saving my shoulder when he decides he needs to dart after a squirrel. I should have thought more about the 40" length though, too short. The nice thing, though, is that it has a ring on the wrist slot so that it can be attached to another lead, so I can still use it.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jennie from Boston on Monday, December 29, 2014My husband and I bought the leash because it claimed to reduce puling and help absorb shock. We found it did neither of these things. Our 30 and 50 pound mutts pulled as usual on this 40" leash and the handle hurt our hands much more than our normal canvas leashes. There's very little stretch, and therefore, not much shock-absorbtion. I won't use them again because they made our walk much less enjoyable and more uncomfortable for me,
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Northern Pete from Minnesota on Thursday, December 4, 2014I bought 2 for my lab and husky, they have got a lot of energy and the stretchy feature saves my arms. I bought the 25" first and had to have the longer leashes as well as the shorter.
