    Not sure why the previous review is so poor. I bought a pair for my husband and I and am now back to buy more. Soft, thick and warm they are great value for money paid. They are more tube sock than lounge sock and fit to size. Kept my feet nice and warm while shoveling snow.

    Gross fit tube socks. A waste of good wool, not soft, the photo lies. They must be stretched like gym socks for any kind of fit, so don't oversize.

    Yes, it does say 2nd, but one sock has no padding at heel (looks like at the end of spool). This shouldn't be sold as 2nd because 1 sock is non-functional. How does one hike without heel padding? Very unhappy with this purchase and the cost is too low to warrant a return. DO NOT PURCHASE.
