Snow pantsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rick from MI on Wednesday, February 14, 2018The pants arrived on time. I was leaving for WV for a ski trip on Tuesday and the pants came on Monday. Nice.
The main reason for these pants was as a back up. Another reason I chose these was because of the pockets. Two hand pockets, one on the leg and one on back right. A lot of pants do not have any.
Three problems I noticed pretty quickly; one, the snow cuff is very small in diameter. They barely fit over my boots and straps let alone the buckles. I like my cuff to cover at least the top 2 buckles on my ski boots. Better for deep powder.
Second, is the length. Just a tad too long for waist size. Not a big problem but when I stepped into my skis my pants leg seemed to get caught in the binding. I had to release the binding to get the pants leg out so I wouldn't rip the leg at the hem. Third, they advertise insulated and I guess they are but they are the coldest pair I own. It didn't feel as insulated as one might expect for the money. I was in WV and while the temps were in the teens, it didn't feel like much keeping my legs warm. Not what I was expecting for the price but they might work pretty well for Xcountry. I haven't worn them for that yet
