Very nice sleeping bag for the money. Used in 45 degree weather and it kept me warm. Packs down pretty small.

First off, the specs are just a little wrong. The rolled up size of the bag is about 15 X 9 inches, which is a bit bigger than the advertised size and probably precludes it from backpacking. The interior is polyester fabric, so it is not as easy to slip in an out of is as nylon. However, if you have a bunch of kids that roll around at night, there will be a lot less of the "swish swish" noise as they settle down. Draw strings in the bag and the hood mean you can bundled yourself up pretty well. We'll see what the warmth rating is like, but the fill level is on par with the other bags I have with a similar fill level. The compression bag has a nice top to it, which will keep out dust and other detritus.

About Ferrino

Founded in Turin, Italy by Cesare Ferrino in 1870, this venerable outdoor gear brand was among the first to create an industrial process for producing weatherproof waxed fabrics. In the 145 years since, Ferrino backpacks, tents and sleeping bags have continued to help adventurers go further. From Reinhold Messner’s ascent of Lhotse (the fourth highest peak in the world) in 1986 to Borge Ousland’s solo, unassisted ski trek across Antarctica in 1997, Ferrino tents and packs remain trusted assets to many of the world’s most intrepid explorers. When it comes to creating Ferrino sleeping bags, tents and packs, this brand has a longstanding reputation for exceeding expectations.
