Wanted black and something restrained as that goes with my office culture. It is very hard to find this combination in shoes believe it or not. Used to wear Ecco for many years but their quality has slid past few years while their high prices remain the same. Can take risk with these very reasonably priced shoes. It is my first week with them. Fit is true to size for 12. They are light weight and comfort wise ok. Even though it looks like there is abundant heal but I felt in wearing that heal could have been bit more elevated. No deal breaker however. In a nutshell these shoes are fine. I hope that this and other brands will make more restrained designs for comfortable walking shoes in black. That is a vital market segment.

Although they are described as a running shoe, the style and construction is more attuned to a casual, around town shoe.

I thought they'd be about right, but they were WAY too small, plus I guess I have wider feet and these aren't the 'wide' version. Ended up returning them to our local store, no issues. Seemed like they'd be a good shoe, though.
