I read some reviews that this product, being made in China, was not up to Filson standards. However, after wearing it around Scotland for a a few days and on a series of international flights, I will say it is a great jacket. It is not at all formal, but certainly useful to dress up a pair of jeans,... Read More

My coat needed quite a bit of tailoring, but for the price and the quality of Filson products, I was happy to oblige. This will be a staple on weekends in the Fall with an oxford cloth button down, gray crew neck sweatshirt, beat up jeans an suede chukkas. Runs long and big, so be prepared to have some work done on it. Tailoring functional sleeves is expensive as well if you want to keep them functioning. My only real negative (hence the 4 stars) is that it is made in China, wish it was US made.

Just received my blazer and immediately after trying it on, I got online and ordered another one in a different color. I love the fact that it can be worn at play or for church. I encourage everyone to grab one of these great jackets at a great price.

These are true in their sizing. A lot of the time I have to buy up one size, but I was swimming in the XXL blazer I bought at first. Returned it for two XLs and I'm really happy with them. I'll be wearing the blue one at work because it can dress up a casual outfit and the green one will be my casual one for around the town on the cooler days of the year. Seems like this tried and true canvas is going to last a lot longer than some of the fancy polyester and neoprene materials that come with other jackets these days.

I ordered two of these an otter green and . The otter green is perfect. The burgundy one had all the inside pockets sowed shut so instead of returning it I'm taking it to a Taylor to correct. But I was disappointed.

Just what I need when walking about. Has pockets and a good fit for me.
