Very Nice. Almost a work jacket.

I have many Filson coats. Since living in Minnesota means getting to experience a complete range of climate conditions, multiple coats is a real luxury. This coat is not tin cloth. It is lighter yet substantial and with a liner pretty much impermeable to wind. It is oiled so it is also water repellent. A great spring coat that can get too warm when its above 55-60F. Quality is excellent, brass zipper is substantial with storm flap behind zipper. Fit is perfect. Cut to hip length with good sleeve length. A nice clean fit. A perfect coat when the weather is warming, maybe some showers, on a bicycle, its nice and windproof and fits right.

There are several things which would make this coat truly unbeatable. The pockets. No hand pockets, only the flapped front pocket. The wrap around pocket idea is brilliant but it is actually two pockets not one. I plan on taking out the seam on one side to make them one large pocket. This will allow the ability to carry larger items such as frisbee and tools.

The only other issue is the cuffs are not adjustable, they look like they would be, but it is not a snap on the cuff, just looks like it.
