Very warm.Reviewed by Bill Anderson from Missouri Ozarks on Wednesday, July 19, 2017I've worn this cap for several winters down to Zero F. and it is very warm and keeps the snow off my glasses, I did add a spring loaded closure to the tie downs, for convenience for 50 cents. Overall, it's the best winter hat I have owned. The heavy two layers of wool are very wind and water repellent and the shearling ear flaps are super warm. The fact that you can snug the earflaps down really makes this cap the best.
