5.0 out of 5 stars. Versatile!Verified Buyer Reviewed by KrisKD from Washington on Friday, February 22, 2019I like most of Filson’s USA-made products, and love finding them at great prices. In my opinion, this is a lightweight, unlined, hooded version of their “Explorer” jacket — which fits great, feels good, and works well — so I’m excited to try one that I can wear more often in the Pacific NW. This Field Parka has many of the typical Filson design features, BUT it is missing a few finer details — like higher hand warmer pockets and exterior snap-cinching. The fit is a little off for Filson — this runs a tad bigger. (Filson women’s wear tends to run narrow in the shoulders and more fitted in general.)

5.0 out of 5 stars. So pretty!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nurse Ratched from Central Florida on Sunday, January 28, 2018This jacket is expensive even at the sale price and it is still in my closet with the tag on while I decide. Here’s the scoop. It’s an unlined jacket, very lightweight. It has a raincoat type swish when you move in it. It doesn’t really look like the thick waxed cotton I was expecting. The seams and the waist cinching draw cord make it look so pretty and not boxy. It has a zipper and buttons up the front. The square pocket has a slush hand pocket underneath. I love the pockets! The large was the only size left. I wear a size 10 and was worried it would be too big but it isn’t. It’s so light that I think it’ll be great for travel. I live in Florida and it’s right for most seasons here, but I don’t often need a raincoat. That said, I’ll probably keep it because when I do need one, it’s PERFECT!

5.0 out of 5 stars. ClassicParkaVerified Buyer Reviewed by Carlota from Florida on Saturday, October 21, 2017I had planned to return this as soon as I received it—too expensive! But after wearing it I can’t part with it. The Filson quality is so fine, I’m sure it will last for decades, taking the place of cheaper, flimsy parkas. The size medium is slightly big, I’m a size 8-10, but I wanted it loose enough to wear a heavyweight sweater underneath. The shaping seams and drawstring waistline make the fit. Haven’t worn it in a cold wind yet, but the fabric seems dense enough to keep the wind out, yet it is surprising how flat it packs down.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Set to become a lifelong favorite.Verified Buyer Reviewed by kt from ohio on Friday, September 15, 2017I have worn this parka twice. I love the pockets (there are 4). I was worried a large might be too small, but it fits well and I am still able to layer underneath (38D with broad shoulders). I anticipate holding onto this for a long time.
