Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jen from Colorado on Friday, December 2, 2016I bought two of these jackets, because we weren't sure which size to get. My husband is a big guy, 6'1" and about 200 lbs, but he's not overweight. His chest, back and shoulders are big from weightlifting and his stomach is slender. Lately everything we buy has been XL; but XL is starting to be too small, so we've been going with XXL. The problem there is the torso ends up being way too big and it looks odd. Ultimately, we kept the XXL for him, which gives him plenty of room to be comfortable without being too bulky in the torso. I ended up keeping the XL and giving it too my dad, who loved it and said after wearing it for a few days, that it's and awesome jacket. It's a nice in between jacket, not too warm, but enough to keep you comfortable on cooler days.
Reviewed by Chris B from CA on Monday, November 14, 2016This is tough to beat at the price STP is offering. Just took it camping in the Sierra's for 4 chilly November nights. It was fine into the mid-low 40's with a flannel shirt underneath. When I got home I noticed that it had very minimal campfire smoke smell, most of my jackets stink by the time I get home. There was no precipitation on the trip, so I can't comment on its' water repellent capabilities. The wax coating seems like it would hold up in a very light drizzle. I wouldn't wear the jacket indoors or on most furniture, the wax coating does rub off a bit.
