Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Stevo from KS on Wednesday, April 16, 20141. These are not gray at all. They are absolutely a brown color and are even more brown if you put any waterproofing on them. The suede looks brown as well, if you're worried about that. Seriously, these ARE NOT GRAY BOOTS. If you don't want a dark brown boot, don't buy these. If you can handle that move on to #2.
2. These are cut, IMO, .5 size too big. I wear 12 in just about every shoes and 11.5 in these fits me perfect. If you can handle that, move on...
These are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. I'm only coming back here 6 months after buying them to see if the lighter color is available. Sadly, it's not. Just took a trip to CO in April and these were the only footwear I took. It was hot in Denver, snowy in Breckenridge and wet all along the way. These kept my feet warm, dry and cool exactly when they needed too.
Recognize that 1 & 2 are REAL issues but if you can handle that, there's not a better boot for this price around!

Reviewed by Steph from Blue Ridge Mountains, VA on Tuesday, March 11, 2014Purchased these for my husband...actually 2 pair. One for "dress" and the other for "work". He loved the first pair so much he was afraid he wouldn't be able to keep them nice enough to wear, say, out to dinner or something. He says they are quite comfortable and is confident replacing his old Timberland work boots with these as they are made so well. We took a long weekend trip to Boston back in December where he broke these in (weather-wise) and encountered a couple of rough winter storms. His feet stayed dry and actually rather warm. He gives them 5 stars.
Reviewed by drray from Ohio on Thursday, February 27, 2014Boots seemed to be well made, but are actually at least 1 size too large. Also, color was not "charcoal" as indicated, but more of a brown.
Reviewed by Sam Thompson, high school junior from Athens, Georgia on Tuesday, February 11, 2014These are solid, durable boots. Sizes run a bit big. Great for the cold weather. Keep my feet warm. Have had lots of nice compliments about their look.
