Great summer hiking sock

Wore these socks hiking for the first time with a new pair of hiking boots - they were a great fit! Stayed dry and comfortable despite a hot and sunny Colorado day. I'm glad I bought 2 pairs!

  • Solid Hiking Socks

I wear size 10.5 and have an athletic / narrow foot and these fit on the tight side, which is good for hiking. The bottom of the sock is thick and supportive while the top is thinner and more breathable.
  • light alright

They are really lightweight socks . Too light for me . Tube socks are thicker . I don't like them .

Loving the fit of these socks. While they're not compression socks, the fit helps keep the swelling down on long hikes.

Like them a lot. I work outside starting the end of March each year. It has been in forty and fifty degree mark and these wear comfortable and even slightly warmer than needed worn with a Keen rain hiker. Not my first pair of socks with merino wool. Soon it will be the only type of sock in my drawer, including summer use.

  • “How are these sold? Pair - 2pack.....
How quickly to they dry hanging outside? Figure 60-70 degree nights.”

    • These are sold by the pair. They are fairly quick drying, but it greatly depends on conditions, i.e. humidity, wind, etc.

    • These are sold as one pair. Concerning drying time, it will depend on the humidity and wind as much as temperature. In most regions, nighttime humidity is higher than daytime. I recommend drying them during the day, in the sun and wind if available. I also recommend ordering at least one size larger, as these socks are very narrow. They are well made, and hold up pretty well in the wash.
