However, it runs large and the fit is super boxy with no shape at all. The elastic at the back of the waist helps but the shoulders are too big and the whole top slides from one side to the other. Had to return because I knew I wouldn't wear it. The fabric is very thin but it would have been comfortable in the summer even with a slip.

If you have a long waist I would not recommend this dress. I am petite and a size 12 on the bottom and a 14/16 on top. This dress fit me perfectly and I am well pleased.

If you have a dark slip, it'd probably be fine.
Gave it a 3 b/c it looks great on (other than being see-through) and I like the pattern. I am returning it.
