I got a couple kinds of ankle boots these are the ones I kept. The leather is extremely soft and high quality. Unlike other boots in the style the shaft is all leather instead of having gussetts, but still easy to walk in. The heel is just wide enough to walk in comfortably without looking too clun... This is a gorgeous pair of boots and I so wanted to be able to wear them, but they ran small in the toe box and even though they're leather, I didn't know if they would stretch enough to be comfortable. I contemplated ordering them in the next size up, but I was concerned they would be too big.

As others reviewers noted, these boots feel hard when first put on. They softened up as I wore them indoors and are now comfortable. These are very stable for me because of heel height and placement. These are quality cowhide suede boots and their price is unbeatable, plus they go well with jeans and dress pants. They're a bit short to tuck skinnies into unless you put elastic tiedowns on skinnies. I wear 7 or 7 1/2 and glad I got these in 7 1/2. My feet are narrowish so these fit me great, but I doubt they'll work for wide feet because while toebox has room, instep is sort of narrow. I'm very pleased with my new cutie booties!

These are nice boots with nice smooth leather (I got the black). I like the almond toe shape and the heel height is nice. I have narrow feet but if you don't these might squeeze. Although the foot was comfortable on me the ankle part seems stiff It isn't tight in any way just stiff. Maybe because of the ankle strap detailing? I bought a few different styles and this is the least comfortable of the 4. I am still deciding if I will keep them.

These are cute, but the heel is much higher than the advertised 2.5 inches. They are very stiff and tight. The footbed is not at all padded and are very hard and uncomfortable. I am ordering a half size larger to see if a thicker sock will help. The price was reasonable.

I have always worn the M width for my shoes. For boots, I usually order a 1/2 size bigger to accommodate thicker socks. These ankle boots' M width is still too tight even with at a 1/2 size larger. They have the fit of pumps (very narrow in the front and not comfortable for all day wear) so I feel the pressure on the sides of my feet as soon as I put these on. Even wearing thin dress socks did not help. If you have narrower feet, these should fit you fine.
