Not quite!Reviewed by Main from Virginia on Thursday, July 12, 2018I just ordered these and they are 600 grams instead of 1200. The boot was large, but should work with thick socks.
Nice Light Weight Waders but be Careful on SizingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Yosemite Sam from Trinidad, CA on Sunday, March 15, 2015These are my first breathable waders so I can't comment versus anything but neoprenes, but man are these light and comfortable to move around in! Bought them for winter steelhead fishing and have used maybe 5 times so can't give a "toughness" or wear rating yet, but will say that be prepared to wear something other than jeans under them for warmth. I bought some Kenyon Polarskins expedition weight fleece bottoms (at the same time from STP) and they work pretty well for insulation, but a good pair of fleece wader pants (Simms?) would probably be ideal. SIZING is another thing to be aware of- I wear a men's size 8 street shoe and have always had to buy size 7 bootfoot waders (even wearing 2 pairs of sox) so I originally ordered 7's with the Hellbenders and guess what? They were too small in the feet. Returned for size 8's and they are still a tiny bit snug so I am now only wearing a single pair of sox. Other than that these are nice waders with 3 chest pockets for cell phone and snacks. Only time will tell how they hold up versus neoprenes but so far I like them.
Frog Toggs Hellbender WadersVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ca Duck Hunter from California on Saturday, February 14, 2015Best fitting, most comfortable pair of waders I have ever worn. You wont be disappointed! I was not expecting the quality and fit that these waders provide. I've bought two pair and hope to buy a 3rd pair if they go on sale again.
