ok these shoes are not grey!!! They are a beautiful darker cream. I gave them a 4 star only because you have to brake them in. They are true to size once you do that. I got these to wear with my wedding dress so I am glad I did not get them closer to the big day.
How I broke them in was easy:
I pulled on the braided brown leather straps around the ankle part
I used the tissue paper they came with and shoved it deep into the toes
Next to stretch out the ankle part, I put a full pop can and the rest of the tissue paper in under the can
I left it in over night and tried them on in the morning. For me it needed one more night

This was done with no oils or topical creams too
At least now I can put them on! I have worn them 2 times to finish the process naturally. They are starting to be very comfortable and I can tell they are very well made. I am usually a 8 1/2 sometimes a 9. I ordered a 8 1/2

NOTE: Do not order a bigger size then you normally wear, if you can not get them on at first! I am so glad I put the time into braking them in, because if I would have got a bigger size-they would have been too big eventually.

These boots are beautiful! They are not what I would call grey more of a Taupe color but even better for me. They are top quality and I expect to get many years of use out of them. The style is great and I will wear them both casual and dressy jean.

I loved these boots, nice leather and harness detail. However they were really wide. I put my orthodic in and they were still too wide! looked funny! Back they went!
