About Frye Carson Leather Riding Boots (For Women)

Closeouts. Irresistibly western without going overboard in a strict cowboy sense, Frye's Carson riding boots get their unique character from the scalloped collar and vamp detail and the gorgeous antiqued leather -- tanned, dyed and stoned to an appealing finish.

These are the best boots ever! I have several pairs of Frye boots incuding 2 pairs of these in both brown and black. I agree that these run 1/2 size large. I typically wear an 8.5 in every type of shoe, but every pair of Frye's I own, I wear a size 8. The shaft is fitted, so if you have large calves... Read More

I bought these in a size 8, even though it was recommended to size down if you are a half size. I have a narrow foot and they fit perfectly! I still haven't taken them off since I bought them. They were a little big in the heel so I am using Dr. Scholl's insoles and that has helped a lot. What's not to love about Frye Boots bought online through S.T.P.

These are very well-crafted boots. I love the brown color and the style. The foot fits great and true to size in my opinion. However, I am contemplating sending them back because they are pretty tight on the top of my calves. I am a size 4, 130 lbs and have always thought my calves were thin/normal. So I would advise anyone with a heavier build or with bulky, athletic legs to consider another boot. And certainly don't plan on wearing them over jeans

Beautiful boots, but definitely more of a western, riding boot style than I was looking for. Great fit and quality for this amazing price!

These boots are great. Frye makes a great quality product with classic designs. The Carson boot has a heavy western influence without being a true cowboy boot. The fit is great and mine are true to size. The boot hits me just above mid calf and looks great with skinny jeans or skirts and dresses. These have a lower heel which I like as i'm already tall (5'8"). Love the dark brown color and the photo online is an accurate representation of the color. Can't wait to wear these all winter long.
