I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone considering this type of shoe. They certainly
last a very long time under a variety of conditions.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by JJ from New Jersey on Monday, March 30, 2015This is my first Frye shoes and it is definitely a keeper. I have worn it for a few days now and it needs to be break in, as any leather shoes are. My only minor issue is the lace, which are made of leather, they untie easily even with double knots. It could be just me. For a great price ($58 with dealer flyer), i recommend purchasing one.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by JJ from South Jersey on Tuesday, February 3, 2015This is my first Frye shoes. My wife has been buying Frye boots and loves 'em. Now I know why, great quality, comfort and smells great too! With an awesome deal, it's a win for me!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by photojon from Chicago suburbs on Monday, May 12, 2014Like other reviewers have said, these need a little breaking in before they become super comfortable. When I first put them on, I was ready to send them back. But in less than an hour of wearing them around the house, the heat from my feet began to soften the leather. After another hour, I hardly notice that I was wearing them. They have a nice roomy toe box, in the half size up that I purchased. The STP price (with coupon) on these is untouchable. I recommend lightweight wool socks with these, rather than cotton.
Reviewed by frankie from NWPA on Sunday, February 16, 2014These boots exude quality. They are heavy, and have the feeling that they"ll keep getting better and last forever. The only gripe I have is that the leather is so stout that the tongues dig into my ankles.
Reviewed by Wilfedoh from Maine on Wednesday, January 22, 2014These are really high quality boots. They do take some time to break in, but the fit and finish make it well worth a couple days of discomfort. I did not find the boots narrow like other reviews.
