Excellent quality

Well made. Sturdy and materials are top quality.
Haven't used them enough to form an opinion on how well they stand up to repeated use but initially they are comfortable and solid first couple times out. True to size. Wide feet may have a problem.
So far I recommend.

  • Awesome shoes for gym as well as hiking
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sophie’s Mom from Houston TX on Thursday, December 28, 2017
Not only are these great looking shoes, and well made, they cradle my foot when I’m lifting weights thus protecting my forefoot from being stretched and injured (which happened when I lifted weights in running shoes. Also they are like bike shoes in being pretty stiff, which means a more powerful workout on the gym’s. Ike and rowing machine.
  • Most Comfortable

These are the most comfortable shoe I've worn, and easy in and out. So glad I bought these. Haven't tried out waterproof feature yet.
  • Got half size up, but too tight in toe box
Reviewed by debkakes from Santa Cruz on Friday, December 1, 2017
Not sure what kind of foot these are supposed to fit. The toe box is like a size smaller or a narrow width.
Very disappointed because the sturdiness and flexibility is exactly what I was looking for.
Sending back, the search for lightweight hikers also good for biking continues...
  • Run small
Reviewed by Patti from Boise, Idaho on Friday, October 13, 2017
These run about a half size small. I ordered my usual 6.5, along with a 7, and the 7 fits perfect right out of the box. The insoles are pretty thick, which seems to explain the need to size up. I tried a different insole (from a pair of Solomon running shoes) in the 6.5 and then they also fit perfect. Now I have to decide which ones to return!
