5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Shoes

First pair of Garmont shoes. Very well built. More comfortable than most firm exterior hiking shoes. I ran a few miles on hard surface to break them in and very comfortable. Seems built to last. As always, great pricing thru Sierra.

Wore them all day yesterday at the shop. 10 hours, felt great, they were tight out of the box but took a chance. They're forming nicely and the tread is most excellent. Looking forward to a climb this weekend.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Some variation in sizing

This is my second pair and I can tell you that the first pair were painfully narrow but they did eventually break in. I do have wide feet but this second pair don't feel anywhere near as tight as the first (which I had to use a stretchers on). I wear these daily walking the dog and have pretty much worn them out in a year. I've worn them in all sorts of environments from hiking up Mt Washington to Bermuda and they have been the best compromise I have found between sneakers and full blown hiking boots hence the purchase of a second pair.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Sarcastically Narrow

I would have loved to be rocking these shoes right now, but unfortunately they run INSANELY NARROW! I have a wide foot in the first place, but I thought I would be fine with a Medium. Not so. This shoe was sarcastically narrow. Interestingly enough, I also got another pair of Garments the same time I ordered these. I got those in a Medium and they fit perfectly. So, I don't know. The shoe is very sharp looking though. If they had them in a Wide or EEE I would buy it again.
