Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Beastly bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Steve from Michigan on Sunday, July 22, 2018The product description is wrong. Gor - Tex is not mentioned on the box or boot. That said, these boots have made my feet very happy. Highly recommend.
Not Gore-TexReviewed by lconn from PA on Saturday, July 21, 2018I purchased these boots for my husband, knowing how great Garmont boots are, but was very disappointed when they arrived without Gore-Tex when the description stated they were. The boots are great, but without the GTex, it's not what he needs, so returning. Disappointed.
Not GTX bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Planar Chen from Taiwan on Thursday, June 7, 2018These boots are non-GTX boots. The overview is not correct. So I rate this item 3 stars. But the boots are comfort and I'll keep them .
Not water proof as they saidVerified Buyer Reviewed by caminante from Nevada on Monday, May 28, 2018I bought these boots recently and used for a hike this past week and I love it, they are very comfort. Just one problem and this is the reason I am return them. In the description it said (that why I bought them) they are Gore-Tex and water proof. But they are not. I made a research (after see that my feet was wet) and the only Gore-Tex and water proof on this model are the one in color Ash/Tundra. Actually, the name is Garmont Trail Beast Mid GTX. This one is just Garmont Trail Beast Mid without the GTX.
If you just need a boot water resistant, this are great.
Garmont BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Bert from New Mexico on Tuesday, May 22, 2018Really like like the books. They last, are comfortable. Great if you are on your great all day. These are my fifth pair of this brand, will keep buying more!!
Only disappointment I have is discrimination says Ebony(gray pictures). Boots are brown and tan.
Awesome ankle supportReviewed by Tara from Alaska on Saturday, May 5, 2018I didn't realize how much ankle support they have, but the tags actually specifically state these boots are designed to reduce lateral ankle sprains. I have sprained my ankle dozens of times and really appreciate these. I've already bought a second pair to make sure I have these for a long time!
So far, so goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by CBnCO from Colorado on Thursday, November 23, 2017High quality boot and good fit. I went up a half size from normal to allow for thicker socks in the winter and so far so good in terms of quality and fit.
ExcellentVerified Buyer Reviewed by dinojohnb from Montana on Thursday, November 16, 2017This boot is very comfortable for work or hiking. I like the easy cleaning ability also.
Light duty hikerReviewed by Mo from Pa. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017Overall, an adequate hiking boot for day hikes and around the house. Construction a mix of suede and synthetic materials with no noticeable issues. The sole of the boot does not have a lot of cushioning, would not recommend this shoe for carrying large loads. A construction choice of note is the fact that the gortex liner does not incorporate the entire interior of the shoe. The tongue of the shoe does not incorporate the gortex liner, so any water exposure over the top of the shoe will result in wet feet, no water crossings here.
Great bootReviewed by Taylor from Colorado on Wednesday, October 18, 2017Had this boot for close to 6 months now and it is great. True to size, durable, and comfortable. I workvas a biologist so I am walking up to 10+ miles a day in all types of conditions and terrain Never had a problem in these.
