I'm an older guy and was looking for a boot that would provide some moderate ankle support. After several hours of looking, reading reviesw, etc., I settled on Garmont and am glad I did. Garmont is a well known company in the backpacking-hiking community and have a good reputation. I normally wear a 10.5 E because I like a wider toe-box. A regular 10.5 D is fine in a Keen boot but is often too narrow for me in others so I ordered a size 11 in the Garmont. Glad I did. Fit and comfort are excellent right out of the box. Quality, fit, and finish are excellent. I'm wearing them as I write this and have been for several hours. Recommended.
