Good Boot for the Price

I've been putting this review off for some time to really test drive the boots. I have now put on 20-30 mi and hiked a couple of the 4000 footers out here in NH and feel I can give an informed review.

My first pair had to be returned because they were too small and caused toe bumping on descents and some numbness if I was not moving around. I went up a size for pair two and have had more success.

The ankle support is above ankle and a little stiff at first. This breaks in with time, but requires high enough socks to avoid raw skin on long hikes (8+ mi). The water proof abilities are pretty good, keeping me dry through below ankle puddles and streams, but is still susceptible for any sustained standing in water as is expected. The grip is pretty good and actually seemed to improve with a little wear on the sole.

Overall for the price with a coupon (~$90) is definitely worth it. I hope they hold up as long as my last pair of Columbia's!
