• I ordered a half size bigger and now feel I should have gone a full size.

  • I ordered my normal size (8) and they feel comfortably spacious in width and length. Definitely do not consider them to run smaller then other shoes

  • These shoes fit true to size. If you plan on wearing an extra thick sock you may want to go up a 1/2 size bigger but if not your regular size should work out fine.

  • Perhaps a 1/2 size.

  • I have been an avid outdoorsman for 50 years, starting with the Boy Scouts. Today I'm still active in the Sierra Nevada and AK, including technical climbs. As a general rule always get a hiking boot at least one size larger than your normal shoe size no matter what. My Garmonts fit that rule nicely. If you go with a narrower boot like Salomon, I would start with 1.5 size larger boot. Also, I will always go with the Gore-tex option.

  • Depending on the shoe, I wear a 12 or 13 - for hiking boots I normally go for the 13. I got this shoe in a size 12 and it fits me well. I've used it on some short hikes and I did not have any fit problems. Overall I'd say the fit is true to size. My foot is a bit wide and the regular width toe box seems OK. The length gave me adequate room so that I did not slide forward and bump the toes on downhills.
