Heavy duty outdoor shoe

I bought this as an outdoor work boot, not for the trail, though the distinction might be slight. They get constant climbing and rough use and look like they will hold up well. The fit, as other reviewers have noted, is about one-half size smaller than listed. Some break-in is required to determine the correct fit. The boot construction is quite stiff and relatively heavy - some reviews suggest that this boot is light in weight but I disagree. The foot bed cushion is very thick and vaguely supportive in the arch. If I were using this boot to hike any distance I would be looking for a decent heat-moldable insert.

For my purposes this looks to be an excellent boot and I will purchase a second pair for when this wears out.
